Large, light-maximising windows are crucial for deaf education as children learn by sight.
Project Riandu have designed as many large windows as possible into the building, on the advice of deaf education specialists in Kenya, that maximise the light depending on the movement of the Kenyan sun during school hours, including angled sky-lights to capitalise on daylight.
This improves the learning experience for deaf and partially-hearing students who learn by sight.
When you purchase 1m square window a thankyou card is dispatched to the delivery address.
Please ensure that you enter the delivery address of the gift-receiver when ordering. And enter a message for the card into 'Note to Seller' on the order form.
Please note that you will not receive 1m square window as this is not a sales purchase but a donation of a suggested amount.
The donation amount suggested would cover the price of 1m square window to be used to build the school on site in Riandu, Kenya, but will not necessarily be used for this specific item- although will be used for building materials for the school as needed.
The thankyou card will arrive within 5 working days for UK donations and around 10 working days for donations made from Kenya. Any other non-UK addresses may take longer, but we will do our best to get them to gift-receivers by Christmas.
